It is a 2-pole unit rated at 25 A with 30 mA sensitivity, Type AC (sinusoidal AC residual currents only), for 230-240 V AC 50/60 Hz networks. The 1500 A making and breaking capacity (Idm/Im) covers most domestic and light commercial fault-current scenarios. It clips onto a DIN rail, occupies 4 x 9 mm pitches (36 mm wide), and is rated IP20 (finger-safe) or IP40 inside an enclosure.
The 30 mA sensitivity is the standard for personal protection against direct-contact shocks (IEC 60364-4-41). The 500 V AC rated insulation voltage (Ui) and pollution degree 3 allow installation in standard distribution boards without additional creepage-distance measures. The instantaneous trip (no intentional delay) means it provides the fastest disconnection for fault currents, but it cannot be used for selective (time-delayed) coordination with downstream RCDs — for that, look at the Acti9 iID S or iID H range.
The toggle actuator and padlocking provision allow local lockout-tagout.
Designed and tested to GB 16916.21 and EN/IEC 61008-1 (the RCCB product standard). The 8/20 µs surge withstand of 250 A per EN/IEC 61008-1 ensures the device does not nuisance-trip on lightning-induced transients. The electrical durability is 15,000 cycles under AC-1 resistive load; mechanical durability is 20,000 cycles.
