The Schneider Electric C10B6TM040C is a ComPacT NSX100B circuit breaker — a 4-pole, 40 A thermal-magnetic unit from the NSX family, built to EN/IEC 60947-2 for distribution duty. The 40 A TM-D trip unit handles overload (thermal) and short-circuit (magnetic) protection in one block, so you get the L and I curves without an extra electronic module. Rated 40 A at 50 °C, it's sized for a 40 A feeder or a moderate motor branch circuit out here in the grease.
At 220/240 V it's 40 kA Icu, and at 440 V it's 20 kA Icu.
Front connections top and bottom — no rear-access requirement. Neutral is on the left, and the toggle control is front-accessible.
Mechanical durability is 50,000 cycles; electrical durability ranges from 50,000 cycles at 440 V In/2 down to 10,000 cycles at 690 V In. That's typical for a molded-case breaker in distribution — plenty of life for a panel that isn't switched daily.
