The Schneider Electric C10B6TM016 is a ComPacT NSX100B 4-pole circuit breaker with a 16 A thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit, rated for distribution applications per EN/IEC 60947-2. The 16 A rating at 40 °C sets the continuous current the breaker carries without tripping on overload — sized for a 16 A feeder or branch circuit in a panel.
The breaking capacity code is B, which corresponds to 25 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC. At 220/240 V AC it interrupts 40 kA Icu; at 440 V AC it's 20 kA Icu; at 500 V AC it's 15 kA Icu. For a 415 V panel, the 25 kA Icu means this breaker can safely clear a fault up to 25 kA without welding contacts or rupturing the case — that's the SCCR (short-circuit current rating) you need to match to the available fault current at the panelboard. If your site's fault current exceeds 25 kA at 415 V, you'll need a higher-rated frame (NSX160 or NSX250) or a current-limiting upstream device.
IP40 front face (IK07 impact resistance) means it's protected against tools and small wires entering the enclosure; install in a panel with a door or cover for full IP54+.
