The C10B6TM063 is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX circuit breaker, part of the NSX100B frame, with a 63 A thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit at 40 °C and 4 poles. It's rated for distribution duty and carries a 25 kA Icu breaking capacity at 415 V AC, certified to EN/IEC 60947-2. That 63 A rating is the continuous current the breaker handles in a 40 °C ambient — if your panel runs hotter, the trip unit derates, so keep that in mind for the BOM line.
Breaking capacity and what it means on site
The 25 kA Icu at 415 V AC is the maximum fault current this breaker can safely interrupt without welding contacts or bursting the case. For a 400 V panel feeding motor loads or distribution, that's enough headroom for most commercial and light industrial services. At 240 V it jumps to 40 kA Icu. The TM-D trip gives thermal protection for overloads (L) and magnetic for short circuits (I) — no earth-leakage module here, so if you need ground-fault protection, you're adding a Vigi add-on block.
Mounting and integration
Mounts on a backplate — horizontal or vertical, flat on the back. Front connections both top and bottom, with a 35 mm connection pitch. The 4P version puts the neutral on the left (no protection, 3D configuration). IP40 front face, IK07 impact rating, so it's fine inside a clean panel but not for washdown zones. Pollution degree 3 means it's rated for conductive dust and humidity up to 95% RH — typical for an industrial enclosure, not a sealed cabinet.
