What this breaker frame is for
Schneider Electric C10F3D is a ComPacT NSX100F DC basic frame — a three-pole DC molded-case circuit breaker rated 100 A at 40 °C, with a 36 kA ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) at 750 V DC per IEC 60947-2. It ships without a trip unit, so you fit the appropriate electronic or magnetic trip module for your DC distribution or motor-circuit protection. Class II insulation on the front face eliminates the need for a separate earth connection on the operator interface.
Breaking capacity across DC voltages
Rated 36 kA Icu across the board — at 250 V DC single-pole, 24–125 V DC single-pole, 500 V DC two-pole, and 750 V DC three-pole. That means a single part number covers multiple DC system voltages without derating the interrupt rating. Service breaking capacity (Ics) matches Icu at every voltage, so the breaker clears through-faults and stays reusable — no derate for downstream coordination.
Fixed mount on a backplate, 35 mm connection pitch. IP40 front face (IK07 impact resistance) suits enclosed switchboards; not rated for washdown.
