The F breaking capacity code means it delivers 36 kA Icu at 415 V AC, 50/60 Hz, per IEC 60947-2. That's enough to handle most panelboard and sub-feed faults in a 400 V industrial installation without cascading upstream. At 240 V AC it jumps to 85 kA Icu; at 480 V AC (UL 60947-4-1) it still holds 25 kA. No earth-leakage protection built in, so if you need that, you add a Vigi module externally.
Mounts on a backplate — no DIN rail here. That's a standard NSX100F frame size; it shares the same cutout and bus-bar spacing as other NSX100F breakers. Front connections top and bottom, with a 35 mm connection pitch. IP40 front face keeps tools and fingers out; IK07 impact rating handles a knock during installation. Horizontal or vertical mounting, flat on the backplate — no derating needed for orientation.
If your panel ambient runs hotter, you derate per the manufacturer's curve — but 40 °C covers most ventilated enclosures. The thermal-magnetic trip curve (L for overload, I for short-circuit) is fixed, not adjustable, so this is a straight feeder or branch breaker, not a motor-protector where you'd want adjustable magnetic pickup. Electrical durability is 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 30,000 at full rated current — that's hundreds of thousands of operations in a distribution role where it rarely opens under load. Mechanical durability is 50,000 cycles.
Overvoltage category III, utilization category A (not current-limiting by design). Relative humidity range 0 to 95%. Standard compliance documentation (declaration of conformity, IEC test reports) is available with the order.
