ComPacT NSX100R — 50 A, 4-pole, 200 kA at 415 V
The Schneider Electric C10R4TM050 is a ComPacT NSX100R circuit breaker with a 50 A thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit, four poles, and a rated breaking capacity of 200 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC 50/60 Hz per EN/IEC 60947-2. The R breaking-capacity code means it handles high prospective fault currents typical of industrial distribution panels and transformer secondaries. The TM-D trip provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection in one unit, with the neutral protection set to 1 x Ir (4D).
Breaking capacity and isolation
Rated 200 kA Icu at 415 V AC, 80 kA at 500 V, 65 kA at 525 V, and 45 kA at 690 V — the breaker clears faults across the common industrial voltage range without upstream fusing.
IP40 enclosure protection with IK07 impact resistance. Connection pitch is 35 mm. Five accessory slots are available for auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or undervoltage releases.
Durability and service life
Electrical durability: 20,000 cycles at 440 V at In/2, 10,000 cycles at 440 V at In, and 5,000 cycles at 690 V at In. These figures give a realistic maintenance interval for a distribution breaker that sees occasional switching, not daily motor starting.
