The 4-pole (4P) configuration handles three-phase plus neutral, common in distribution panels where neutral protection is required. The TM-D trip unit provides fixed thermal-magnetic protection: the thermal element guards against sustained overloads (the 63 A rating sets the continuous current limit), and the magnetic element clears short-circuit faults instantaneously. This is a Category A breaker (no intentional short-time delay), so it trips fast on a fault — coordination with downstream devices relies on the instantaneous curve. Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail), with front-facing connections top and bottom. The Everlink lug terminals accept 2.5–95 mm² rigid or stranded aluminium/copper, or 2.5–70 mm² flexible copper — a wide range that covers most panel feed and distribution conductors.
Rated IP40 (finger protection, no water ingress) and IK07 (impact resistance to 2 J), so it belongs inside a panel enclosure — not on a washdown line or outdoors. The breaker is suitable for isolation per IEC 60947-2 — the green flag indicator on the front confirms the contacts are open for safe maintenance lockout. The toggle control is manual; no motor operator or shunt trip is integrated on this variant. Electrical durability is 20,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current (In/2), and 10,000 cycles at full rated current (In) — sufficient for distribution duty where switching cycles are infrequent.
