Trip unit and duty ratings
At 80 A, the power dissipation per pole is 5.8 W, so a three-pole breaker dissipates about 17.4 W — factor that into enclosure ventilation if the panel is densely packed. Electrical durability is 20,000 cycles at 440 V at In/2 and 10,000 cycles at In — sufficient for a distribution breaker that sees infrequent switching. Mechanical durability matches at 20,000 cycles. The breaker is category A (no intentional short-time delay), so it trips instantaneously on short-circuit; coordinate downstream with current-limiting devices if you need selectivity.
The 81 mm width occupies 9 module pitches on a standard DIN cut-out. Connections are front-facing, accepting compression lugs or busbars with a 35 mm pitch (27 mm without spreaders). The grey RAL 7016 housing is the standard industrial finish for the NSXm range.
