Rated 32 A at 40 °C, so the continuous current capacity is given at that ambient — if your enclosure runs hotter, expect derating. The TM-D trip unit combines a thermal bimetal for overload protection and a magnetic coil for short-circuit; it's a fixed-trip design, no interchangeable rating plugs. Electrical durability is 20 000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 10 000 cycles at full rated current; mechanical durability is 20 000 cycles. For distribution duty (not frequent switching) this is fine — don't use it as a motor starter contactor.
Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail) — 108 mm wide, 137 mm high, 80 mm deep. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without. Front-connect terminals accept compression lugs or busbars. Neutral is on the left. The toggle control and flag indicator for auxiliary contacts (green flag) are visible through the enclosure window. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating, 5000 m with derating — relevant for high-altitude installations where air density affects arc extinction.
