It's a 4-pole (4P) unit built to EN/IEC 60947-2, with a breaking capacity of 50 kA at 415 V AC — N performance level. The thermal-magnetic trip gives you both overload protection (the thermal bimetal) and short-circuit protection (the magnetic solenoid), so it's a straightforward, rugged choice for general distribution duty.
Fit, mounting, and environment
This breaker mounts to a backplate — it's not a DIN-rail snap-on unit, so plan for screw-down fixing in the panel. Dimensions are 108 mm wide, 137 mm high, 80 mm deep, taking up 12 module pitches of 9 mm. The connection terminals are Everlink lugs on the front, both top and bottom, accepting 2.5 to 95 mm² rigid or stranded aluminium/copper, or 2.5 to 70 mm² flexible copper. That's a wide wire range, handy when you're feeding a 32 A breaker with a conductor sized for voltage drop or future upsize. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating, 5000 m with derating — worth checking if your site is up a mountain.
