The TM-D trip combines a thermal element for overload protection and a magnetic element for short-circuit response — no electronic adjustments, just fixed-curve reliability.
Category A utilisation means it's not intended for cascading (no intentional short-time delay), so selectivity with downstream devices relies on the thermal-magnetic curve gap. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60664-1) suits it for industrial panels where conductive dust or condensation is expected. IP40 front face keeps tools and fingers out; the backplate mount and front connection terminals suit panel layouts where side access is tight.
Integration notes
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation. 12-module 9 mm pitch width (108 mm) fits standard DIN-rail-mount enclosures with adapters. Connection terminals accept compression lugs or busbars; neutral position is left. The toggle control and flag indicator for auxiliary contact presence give clear local status without opening the panel door.
