The thermal-magnetic trip provides L (overload) and I (short-circuit) protection in one device — no separate relay or CT needed. At 125 A and 40 °C ambient, this is sized for a main feeder or a large motor branch circuit in a 400 V class panel.
At 240 V AC it rises to 85 kA Icu — enough for most North American 240/120 V distribution. The 4-pole version (4P) with neutral left position and 3D neutral protection setting means the neutral pole is not protected — it switches but does not trip. This is standard for distribution where the neutral is bonded at the transformer.
Width 140 mm, height 161 mm, depth 86 mm — fits standard 35 mm connection pitch. IP40 enclosure protection, IK07 impact resistance. Front connections both upside and downside.
Mechanical durability 40,000 cycles. Electrical durability at 440 V In: 20,000 cycles; at 440 V In/2: 40,000 cycles. At 690 V In: 7,500 cycles; at 690 V In/2: 15,000 cycles. Utilisation category A — not intended for frequent switching of motor loads under load (that would be category B or a contactor). This breaker is for distribution and infrequent switching.
