The TM-D provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection in one compact package — no add-on electronic module needed, which keeps the bill of materials simple for distribution panels. The 4-pole (4P) configuration with neutral on the left and a 3D neutral protection setting (no protection) means this breaker is wired for a 3-phase + PEN or solidly earthed system where the neutral does not require its own overload element. The breaking capacity code 'F' delivers 36 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC and 85 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC, both conforming to EN/IEC 60947-2. At 480 V AC it still holds 35 kA Icu under UL 60947-4-1. The utilisation category A (non-delayed) means it is suited for distribution, not motor starting where category B coordination is required.
Integration into the enclosure
Front connections on both the line and load sides simplify busbar layout — no rear-access requirement. Overall footprint is 161 mm high × 140 mm wide × 86 mm deep, with IP40 enclosure protection and IK07 impact resistance. Five accessory slots allow plugging in shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, or under-voltage releases without removing the breaker from the panel. The toggle handle provides manual on/off control and a clear visual indication of the contact position.
Durability and environmental limits
Rated for 40,000 mechanical cycles and 40,000 electrical cycles at 440 V In/2 (half rated current), dropping to 20,000 cycles at full rated current 440 V and 7,500 cycles at 690 V In. Relative humidity tolerance of 0–95 % covers non-condensing indoor environments.
