The Schneider Electric C16N3TM080 is a ComPacT NSX160N circuit breaker with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit rated 80 A at 40 °C. It carries a 50 kA breaking capacity at 415 V AC (Icu per IEC 60947-2), which means it can safely interrupt a fault up to that level on a 400 V distribution board without the arc flashing upstream to the main breaker. That 50 kA at 415 V is the rating that decides fit for most European industrial panels — the 90 kA at 240 V is a UL-derived number that matters only if the part is used on a 240 V corner-grounded delta system.
Mounts on a backplate — flat horizontal or vertical — with front connections both top and bottom. The 105 mm width and 161 mm height fit standard panel cutouts; depth is 86 mm, which leaves room for wiring behind the breaker in a 200 mm deep enclosure.
