The Schneider Electric C16N32D100 is a ComPacT NSX160N molded-case circuit breaker, 3-pole, fitted with a MicroLogic 2.2 electronic trip unit rated 100 A at 40 °C. It is designed for distribution applications and provides LSI protection: long-time overload (L), short-time short-circuit with fixed delay (So), and instantaneous short-circuit (I).
The full IEC 60947-2 curve runs from 90 kA at 220/240 V down to 10 kA at 660/690 V AC. For UL 60947-4-1 applications, it is rated 85 kA at 240 V, 50 kA at 480 V, and 10 kA at 600 V AC.
Mounts on a backplate in either horizontal or vertical orientation, flat on the back. Front connections on both line and load sides. The 105 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit standard ComPacT NSX cutouts. Five accessory slots are available for auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or communication modules. Connection pitch is 35 mm. IP40 enclosure protection; IK07 impact rating.
Rated for 40,000 mechanical cycles and 40,000 electrical cycles at 440 V In/2, 20,000 cycles at 440 V In. No integral earth-leakage protection; if ground-fault detection is needed, add a Vigilong module in the accessory slots.
