It protects distribution circuits against overload (thermal element, L protection) and short-circuit (magnetic element, I protection) per EN/IEC 60947-2. The 3-pole, 3-protected-pole (3D) configuration is sized for 50/60 Hz AC networks. Rated 200 A at 40 °C, the TM-D trip unit is field-replaceable and offers fixed thermal and magnetic settings — no adjustment dials, which simplifies specification for distribution panels where the load current is known and stable.
This breaker carries a 100 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC and 70 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC, both per IEC 60947-2. At 480 V AC it is rated 65 kA Icu per UL 60947-4-1.
Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail) in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat against the panel. Front-connect terminals on both line and load sides simplify busbar or cable connections in a panel with a 35 mm connection pitch. IP40 front face and IK07 impact resistance mean it is protected against tools and small solid objects (1 mm) in a typical IP4X enclosure.
