The TM-D provides fixed thermal overload protection (L) and fixed magnetic short-circuit protection (I) — no interchangeable rating plugs, so the 250 A figure at 50 °C is the hard limit for continuous load on a 3-pole 3D-protected distribution circuit. Breaking capacity is the headline selector: 100 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 70 kA at 415 V, 65 kA at 440 V, tapering to 10 kA at 690 V. If your fault current at the board exceeds 70 kA at 415 V, step up to the S or L breaking capacity frame. Overvoltage category III means it's rated for fixed-installation distribution boards, not downstream equipment-level protection.
Horizontal or vertical mounting on the backplate is permitted. Five accessory slots allow adding auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or under-voltage releases without modifying the breaker body. Toggle control gives clear visual indication of contact position.
