For reference, the ComPacT NSX family also offers S (36 kA), H (70 kA), and L (150 kA) breaking capacity codes at that voltage. At 480 V AC the rating holds at 50 kA (UL 60947-4-1), at 600 V it drops to 15 kA. The electrical durability at 440 V In is 10,000 cycles, 20,000 cycles mechanical — consistent with a distribution-duty breaker, not a switching device cycled daily.
Mounts to a backplate — not DIN rail. Connection pitch is 35 mm, standard for busbar or cable lug termination. IP40 enclosure protection, IK07 impact resistance. The toggle control type is panel-mountable; the breaker occupies five slot positions in a typical switchboard.
Thermal characteristics and derating
Rated 200 A at 40°C ambient. The TM-D trip unit is thermal-magnetic — the thermal bimetal is calibrated for the 40°C reference; above that, derate per the manufacturer's curve. Power dissipation per pole is 15.4 W, so total dissipation across three poles is about 46 W at rated load — factor that into enclosure heat rise calculations. The breaker operates up to 2000 m altitude without derating; above that up to 5000 m with derating. Relative humidity range 0-95%.
