Product details

The C25N6TM250C is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX250N moulded-case circuit breaker with a 250 A thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit, 4 poles, and a 50 kA Icu breaking capacity at 415 V AC. The TM-D trip gives you L (thermal) overload protection and I (magnetic) short-circuit protection in one unit — no electronic adjustments, just fixed curves. At 220/240 V AC the Icu jumps to 90 kA, and at 690 V AC it drops to 10 kA — match your available fault current at the installation voltage.

Front connections top and bottom, 35 mm connection pitch. IK07 impact rating means it handles light tool bumps during panel assembly.

Frequently asked questions

What standards does the C25N6TM250C comply with?

It is certified to EN/IEC 60947-2, suitable for isolation per that standard, with pollution degree 3 per IEC 60664-1 and IK07 impact protection per IEC 62262.

Where can I buy the C25N6TM250C?

This part is sourced and quoted to order against an RFQ through independent distribution. Availability and current pricing are confirmed at quote time.

What is the breaking capacity of this breaker at 415 V?

50 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2. At 220/240 V it's 90 kA, at 440 V it's 50 kA, at 690 V it's 10 kA.

What is the difference between C25N6TM250C and a ComPacT NSX with electronic trip?

The TM-D is a fixed thermal-magnetic trip — no adjustable settings, no ground-fault module, no communication. An electronic Micrologic trip (e.g. on a C25N6D250C variant) offers adjustable L/S/I/G curves, power metering, and optional Modbus. If your coordination study needs selective tripping or you want energy monitoring, step up to the electronic version. For a simple overload/short-circuit protection on a fixed load, the TM-D is the fast mover.
