For a 480 V AC system (common in North America), it still holds 50 kA Icu per UL 60947-4-1. At 690 V AC, the Icu drops to 10 kA, so it is not a fit for 690 V main feeders unless the fault current is known to be low.
The 35 mm connection pitch and 140 mm width mean it occupies the same footprint as other NSX frames, so a panel layout designed for an NSX160 or NSX250 can accept this breaker without re-drilling. Rated IP40 (finger-safe) and IK07 (2 J impact), it is suited for enclosed distribution boards.
Endurance and isolation
Rated for 20,000 mechanical cycles and 20,000 electrical cycles at 440 V In/2. At full rated current (250 A, 440 V), electrical endurance is 10,000 cycles — enough for frequent switching in a distribution role but not for daily motor starting. Overvoltage category III suits fixed-installation distribution.
