If your system SCCR is lower, this breaker still works, but if it exceeds 85 kA at 500 V, you need a higher-rated frame. Thermal-magnetic means no electronic adjustments — the bimetal element handles the time-current curve for overloads, and the solenoid coil trips instantly on high fault currents. Set it and forget it; no auxiliary power needed for the trip unit.
Where it goes in the panel
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat against the back. The 140 mm width and 161 mm height mean it occupies a standard MCCB footprint — plan for 35 mm connection pitch on the busbar or cable lugs. Front connections on both line and load sides keep wiring accessible without reaching around the back. IK07 impact rating means it survives incidental tool bumps during panel assembly. Neutral protection is set at 1 x Ir — full rated current, not reduced. If your system uses a solidly grounded neutral and you only need phase protection, consider the 3-pole variant instead.
