The TM-DC trip unit provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection. The thermal element responds to sustained overcurrents; the magnetic element trips instantaneously on high fault currents. With 4 protected poles (4D) and suitability for isolation, this breaker can serve as a visible-break disconnect on a DC circuit, provided the load side is de-energized before operation. The toggle control gives local on/off switching; no remote trip accessory is included, but the 6 accessory slots accept shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, or under-voltage releases.
