DC distribution breaker — 600 A thermal-magnetic, 36 kA at 750 V DC
It delivers 36 kA Icu breaking capacity at 750 V DC (3 poles in series) per EN/IEC 60947-2, making it suitable for DC distribution in industrial switchboards, UPS output feeders, and battery-bank protection where high interrupting capacity is required on a DC bus.
For a 500 V DC bus, the same 36 kA Icu is achieved with 2 poles in series; at 250 V DC, a single pole delivers 36 kA. The TM-DC trip unit provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection. The thermal element responds to sustained overcurrents; the magnetic element trips instantaneously on high fault currents. With 4 protected poles (4D) and suitability for isolation, this breaker can serve as a visible-break disconnect on a DC circuit, provided the load side is de-energized before operation. The toggle control gives local on/off switching; no remote trip accessory is included, but the 6 accessory slots accept shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, or under-voltage releases.
Fixed-mount on a backplate — no DIN-rail adapter. The 185 mm width, 255 mm height, and 110 mm depth define the panel cutout and enclosure depth required. The neutral position is left; connection pitch is 45 mm. Mount horizontally or vertically, flat on the back. IP40 front face and IK07 impact resistance suit indoor panel installation.
