The Schneider Electric EZC250H4100 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker from the EasyPact EZC250H series, rated 100 A at 40 °C with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit. With IP20 finger-safe terminals and IK07 impact resistance, it mounts on a backplate with fixed front connections, making it a straightforward swap into an existing EasyPact footprint.
Breaking capacity — what the H rating means for your panel
The H suffix on EZC250H4100 defines the interrupting range: 85 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC, 36 kA at 380–415 V, 25 kA at 440 V, and 10 kA at 550 V AC. For DC circuits, it handles 30 kA at 125 V DC (1-pole) and 30 kA at 250 V DC (2-pole). This spread lets you coordinate selectivity downstream of a higher-rated main without oversizing the branch breaker.
Fixed mounting on a backplate, front connections both line and load sides. The toggle handle provides positive contact indication — you see the mechanical state independent of the trip mechanism.
Designed and tested to EN/IEC 60947-1, EN/IEC 60947-2, GB/T 14048.2, and JIS C8201-2-2. The breaker is certified for isolation per IEC 60947-2, meaning you can safely use it as a disconnecting means with visible gap. Rated insulation voltage 690 V AC, operational voltage 550 V AC or 250 V DC. No integrated earth-leakage protection; the TM-D trip handles short-circuit and overload only.
