The Schneider Electric EZC630H4500N is a 4-pole EasyPact EZC630H molded case circuit breaker rated 630 A at 40 °C, with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit. It delivers 50 kA Icu at 440 V AC, 50/60 Hz, per IEC 60947-2 — enough headroom for most distribution panel main breakers or large feeder circuits in commercial and light industrial builds. The H breaking capacity code tells you it's the high-interrupt version of this frame, sized for installations where fault current runs above 25 kA.
Above 40 °C, you derate per the thermal curve in the IEC 60947-2 annex, but the TM-D trip unit's thermal element already compensates for self-heating. The magnetic trip is fixed at 5000 A, about 8x In, which is typical for thermal-magnetic MCCBs in this class.
Backplate mounted, fixed (not drawout), with front-front connections — both line and load terminate on the front face. That simplifies bus bar routing in a distribution section but means you need clearance in front for cable bending radius. The 185 mm width and 255 mm height fit a standard MCCB cutout; the 44 mm pole pitch matches common bus bar spacing for 4-pole breakers. IP20 finger-safe terminals are standard, but the enclosure around it needs to provide the overall panel IP rating.
Listed to EN/IEC 60947-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2, plus the Japanese JIS C8201-2-2 and Chinese GB/T 14048.2 equivalents. No earth-leakage protection built in; that's handled separately.
