What this MCCB delivers in a panel
The Schneider Electric EasyPact EZCV250H4200 is a 200 A molded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) with four poles, built for distribution duty in commercial and industrial switchboards. Its thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit handles overload and short-circuit protection, and the integrated earth-leakage protection saves an external module on the DIN rail. The 100 kA Icu at 220...240 V AC (50/60 Hz) means it can interrupt a fault current up to that level without damage to itself — critical for high-fault installations near large transformers or parallel feeders.
Trip curve and selectivity
The TM-D trip unit is thermal-magnetic — the thermal element tracks overloads (inverse-time), the magnetic element trips instantaneously on short-circuit. This breaker is Category A (no intentional short-time delay), so it coordinates downstream with fuses or smaller MCCBs but not with another Category A breaker in series unless the upstream unit has a higher Icu. For a 200 A feeder feeding a 160 A subpanel, this gives headroom for inrush without nuisance tripping.
Fixed backplate mount — no DIN-rail clip, so plan a mounting plate or enclosure backpan. That pitch matches standard busbar systems and lug kits. IP20 finger-safe protection on the front; IK07 impact resistance means it survives a tool drop in a panel.
