The breaking capacity reaches 50 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC and 25 kA Icu at 380/400 V AC — figures that govern its use in high-fault-current panelboards where upstream coordination matters.
The TM-D trip unit has a fixed thermal pickup at 1× In and a magnetic instantaneous threshold at 300 kA (integral instant protection), meaning magnetic trips only on very high faults, not on motor inrush. The 50 kA Icu at 240 V AC is the maximum short-circuit current the breaker can interrupt once and remain functional; at 415 V it drops to 25 kA, and at 440 V to 17 kA.
Fixed backplate mounting, front connections both top and bottom. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60947-1) means it tolerates conductive pollution in industrial enclosures — no special sealing needed inside a standard IP40 panel. The IP40 housing keeps out tools and fingers but not water; mount it in a dry cabinet or add an outer enclosure for washdown areas.
