100 A rated, 4-pole fuse switch disconnector body
The GS1JB4 is a TeSys GS fuse switch disconnector body — the base unit for a 4-pole, BS-type fused disconnect. It carries a 100 A rated operational current (Ie) across AC-23A and AC-23B duty at 400 V, and the same 100 A at 690 V with the terminal cover fitted. Breaking capacity is 800 A at 400 V AC-23B, with a making capacity of 1000 A at the same condition — the disconnect can close onto a fault without welding the contacts.
Panel fit and mounting constraints
The body measures 7.2 in (184 mm) wide by 6.4 in (162 mm) high by 4.2 in (106.5 mm) deep — the width is the critical dimension for a multi-unit lineup on a DIN rail or mounting plate. Panel depth budget must clear the 4.2 in behind the door plus the external operating handle throw. IP20 with the terminal cover in place (IEC 60529) — finger-safe but not protected against moisture ingress. The TH protective treatment (tropicalization) handles humidity in non-washdown environments.
Active production — sourcing posture
Sourced through independent distribution channels against a BOM-quantity RFQ.
Compliance and documentation baseline
Designed and tested to IEC 60269-1, IEC 60269-2 (fuse requirements), and IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnector standard). The body withstands a glow-wire test at 1760 °F (960 °C) per IEC 60695-2-1; the fuse cover at 1562 °F (850 °C). Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 750 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with an impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) of 8 kV — suitable for 400 V and 690 V line-to-line systems with adequate clearance in the enclosure.
