Active production, ready for BOM assignment
The GS1JBR3 is an active-production TeSys GS fuse switch disconnector body — no lifecycle concern for new builds or MRO spares. This is the 3-pole version accepting BS-type fuses (Ø31 mm), rated 100 A at 400 V in AC-23B duty. It carries a 800 A breaking capacity at 400 V AC-23B and a making capacity of 1000 A at the same rating — figures that govern fault clearance when the switch is closed onto a short circuit.
Rated power and current — what the duty codes mean
Rated operational power reaches 51 kW at 400 V, 63 kW at 500 V, and 90 kW at 690 V in AC-23 duty — these are the motor-load ceilings for a given supply voltage. Short-circuit withstand is 80 kA — the switch body can survive that fault level when coordinated with the upstream protective device, a key number for panel SCCR compliance per IEC 60947-3.
The right-side operating handle needs clearance for swing arc; plan the door cut-out accordingly. Power circuit connections accept bars or screw terminals for 25–95 mm² flexible cable. Control circuit and power circuit both tighten to 12 N·m — one torque setting simplifies installation. IP20 with the terminal cover fitted (IEC 60529) — sufficient for enclosed panel use; no washdown rating, so keep it inside the enclosure.
Designed to IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnector), IEC 60269-1, and IEC 60269-2 (fuse coordination). Rated insulation voltage 750 V AC, impulse withstand 8 kV — covers the clearance and creepage for 400/690 V systems. Fire resistance tested to IEC 60695-2-1: 960 °C on the body, 850 °C on the fuse cover — relevant for thermal runaway scenarios in high-current paths. Protective treatment TH classification means the unit is treated for tropical/humid environments — a plus for unheated enclosures or coastal installations.
