This is a TeSys GS switch-disconnector-fuse, 4 poles (4P), rated for 400 A conventional free air thermal current at 40 °C. It accepts DIN fuse links, size 2. The making capacity is 4000 A at 400 V AC-23B; breaking capacity is 3200 A at 400 V AC-23B. Short-circuit withstand is 40 kA.
Rated operational current — what it means for motor duty
Rated operational current (Ie) is 400 A at 400 V AC-23A and AC-23B, which covers motor switching with occasional inrush. At 690 V AC-23A it derates to 250 A. For DC applications with 2 poles in series per phase, it handles 200 A DC-23A or 315 A DC-23B at 440 V.
Physical fit and mounting
Dimensions: 318 mm wide, 205 mm high, 149 mm deep. Mounts on a plate. The operating handle is on the external left side. Power circuit terminals accept bars up to 45 mm² or lugs/ring terminals 185–240 mm²; tightening torque is 25 N·m. IP20 with terminal cover.
