The Schneider Electric TeSys K LC2K0901B7TQ is a 3-pole reversing contactor — two contactors mechanically interlocked so only one can close at a time, which is the standard way to reverse a three-phase motor without a phase-to-phase short. It is rated 9 A in AC-3 duty at 440 V, which means it handles motor starting currents up to that level, and 20 A in AC-1 resistive load duty. The 24 V AC 50/60 Hz coil draws 1.3 W holding power. One normally-closed auxiliary contact is built in.
Motor power and where it fits
This reversing contactor is sized for motors up to 2.2 kW on 220–230 V AC, and 4 kW on 380–415 V or 440–500 V or 660–690 V AC, all 50/60 Hz. The UL/CSA horsepower ratings run from 2 hp at 200/208 V up to 5 hp at 460–600 V. It is a panel-mount component — screw clamp terminals on both power and control circuits accept solid or flexible wire from 0.34 mm² up to 4 mm², with Faston tab options for quick-connect wiring.
The LC2K0901B7TQ is certified to EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, GB/T 14048.4, and JIS C8201-4-1 — the full set of international and North American standards for contactors and motor-starters. IP2X finger protection per VDE 0106.
