Rated AC-3 at 12 A up to 440 V, it handles reversing duty on small induction motors — conveyors, fans, pump direction changes — where the load is switched under full current. The 48 V AC coil pulls in reliably down to the dropout threshold typical of IEC control circuits.
AC-4 (inching/plugging) and AC-1 (resistive) are also listed, but AC-3 is the duty class for normal start/run/reverse cycles. The three main poles are all NO; the single NC auxiliary is built in for interlocking the reversing pair.
The contactor measures 90 mm wide by 58 mm high by 57 mm deep — compact enough for a shallow enclosure. Altitude derating starts above 2000 m. The enclosure is rated IP20 per VDE 0106, so it needs a cabinet or cover to prevent tool or finger contact. Flame retardance meets UL 94 V1 and NF F 16-101/102, which is standard for rail and industrial panel applications.
