The Schneider Electric TeSys K LC8K12105B7 is a 3-pole reversing contactor rated for AC-3 motor switching up to 12 A at 440 V, with a 24 V AC coil. It arrives preassembled with the reversing power busbar, which saves panel wiring time and reduces the chance of a phase-to-phase short during commissioning. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure (per VDE 0106) means it's safe for open-panel mounting where operators might reach in, but it's not rated for washdown — keep it inside the cabinet.
The AC-3 rating at 12 A covers most small reversing motor loads — conveyors, small hoists, valve actuators — up to about 5.5 kW at 400 V. AC-1 resistive load rating goes higher (check the full curve), so it can also switch heater banks or lighting contactors in the same panel. The 24 V AC coil is common in older control transformers; verify your control voltage is AC, not DC, because a DC coil on an AC supply will burn out, and an AC coil on DC won't pull in reliably. The preassembled busbar means the mechanical interlock is already aligned, so you don't need to fiddle with loose linkage kits. Operating temperature range is -25 to 50 °C, storage from -50 to 80 °C, which covers most indoor panel environments without derating up to 2000 m altitude.
