Product details

The Schneider Electric LP2K1210MUD3 is a TeSys K reversing contactor — a 3-pole unit rated for AC-3 motor duty at 12 A up to 440 V, with a 240 V DC coil and one normally open auxiliary contact. It comes preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so you don't have to build the mechanical interlock and bus wiring yourself; it's ready to drop into a panel and wire the motor leads and coil control.

The preassembled reversing busbar saves space and wiring time compared to building the interlock with two separate contactors and a mechanical link. The 3 NO power poles handle the motor phases; the single NO auxiliary contact can be used for a status feedback to the PLC or to seal in the coil circuit. The coil is 240 V DC, so the control circuit needs a DC supply — not uncommon in modern panels with 24 V DC control, but 240 V DC is less common. Verify your control transformer and rectifier setup before wiring.

Frequently asked questions

What are the key ratings for this reversing contactor?

It is rated AC-3 at 12 A up to 440 V for motor duty, with a 240 V DC coil. It has 3 normally open power poles and 1 normally open auxiliary contact. The enclosure is IP20 finger-safe.

What is the physical size of the LP2K1210MUD3?

It measures 90 mm wide, 58 mm high, and 57 mm deep.

Does it come with the reversing busbar?

Yes, it is preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so the mechanical interlock and bus connections are already in place.

What compliance certifications does it carry?

It has IP20 per VDE 0106, flame retardance V1 per UL 94, and also meets NF F 16-101 and NF F 16-102 for railway applications. It also has protective treatment per IEC 60068 and DIN 50016.
