Rated AC-3 at 12 A up to 440 V, it handles reversing motor duty for small induction motors — think conveyors, pumps, or fan drives where direction change is needed. The 24 V DC coil keeps control circuit wiring simple and safe. IP20 finger-safe terminals (VDE 0106) mean it mounts inside an enclosure, not exposed. The V1 flame-retardant housing (UL 94) and NF F 16-101 compliance suit rail and transit applications.
AC-3 at 12 A is the motor-switching rating — that's the one that governs real use. It switches a 5.5 kW motor at 400 V three-phase. AC-1 covers resistive loads up to 20 A. The 690 V AC rated operational voltage (power circuit) gives headroom for 400/480 V systems, but the 12 A AC-3 figure is the hard limit for motor duty. Derate above 50 °C ambient; the operating range is -25 to 50 °C. Mechanical robustness is solid for industrial panels: 15 Gn shock on Z axis with contacts closed, 4 Gn vibration from 5 to 300 Hz. It survives the ride in a control cabinet on a forklift.
Mounts on DIN rail or screw-fixed; the preassembled reversing busbar saves panel wiring time. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating; above that, factor in air density for cooling and arc extinction.
