Reversing Contactor for Motor Control
The 60 V DC coil with 1 NO auxiliary contact suits PLC or relay logic control circuits in control panels.
The AC-3 rating (12 A at 440 V) governs motor switching — this is the duty that matters for inrush during starting. AC-1 (resistive) and AC-4 (plugging/inching) are also covered, but the AC-3 figure is the one to match against your motor FLA. The 60 V DC coil draws from a control supply common in marine and industrial panels; verify your DC bus voltage and polarity. IP20 finger-safe terminals (VDE 0106) mean it is intended for enclosure mounting, not exposed installation.
Construction and Compliance
The contactor carries V1 flame retardance per UL 94 and meets NF F 16-101/102 for rail applications. Protective treatment TC per IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 indicates resistance to corrosive atmospheres. Mechanical robustness is specified for shock and vibration: 15 Gn closed, 10 Gn open on Z axis per IEC 60068-2-27, and vibration up to 4 Gn closed, 2 Gn open at 5–300 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6. This makes it suitable for installations subject to transport or machinery vibration, including marine and mobile equipment.
Panel Integration
The preassembled reversing busbar saves panel wiring time and reduces error. Mounts on DIN rail or via screws (standard TeSys K base). IP20 allows close spacing in a control cabinet; plan for adequate ventilation if multiple contactors are ganged, as the 50 °C max ambient is the enclosure interior temperature.
