The 72 V DC coil is a common control voltage for industrial panels with DC supplies; the contactor also handles resistive loads (AC-1) and plugging/inching duty (AC-4). Its IP20 finger-safe enclosure (per VDE 0106) suits installation inside a control cabinet where the panel door provides the environmental seal.
Mechanical and environmental robustness
The contactor is built for vibration and shock typical of industrial machinery: it withstands 4 Gn vibration (closed contacts) and 15 Gn shock on the Z axis (closed). The flame-retardant housing meets UL 94 V1 and NF F 16-101, making it suitable for rail and transit applications where fire safety is specified.
At 57 mm deep, 90 mm wide, and 58 mm high, this reversing contactor fits a standard DIN-rail footprint. The preassembled reversing busbar saves panel-build time — no external cross-wiring for the reversing pair. The 1 NO auxiliary contact is built in; if more auxiliaries are needed, TeSys K add-on blocks snap onto the front without additional wiring.
