The SICK DT50-2B215252 is a Dx50-2 series optical distance sensor using a Red Laser emitter. Its 10 m maximum sensing range covers long-distance presence or positioning tasks on a conveyor or crane bridge — the 200 mm minimum standoff means it won't false-trigger on objects closer than that. The 20 ms response time is adequate for material handling and logistics sortation, but too slow for high-speed pick-and-place or press protection.
