The SICK GRTE18S-P2412V is a photoelectric proximity sensor from the GR18 Inox series, built for washdown and outdoor environments. It carries IP67, IP68, and IP69K ratings, meaning the housing and optics survive high-pressure, high-temperature spray cleaning — standard for food-and-beverage or pharmaceutical lines where sanitation cycles are routine. Sensing range runs from 3 mm minimum up to 115 mm maximum, with a visible red LED beam. The 1 ms response time is fast enough for counting or position detection on moderate-speed conveyors.
