The GTB6-P4212 is a G6-series miniature photoelectric proximity sensor with a 250 mm sensing range and a 625 µs response time — fast enough to catch parts on a moderate-speed conveyor or detect presence in a pick-and-place cell without missing targets. The PNP output switches 100 mA, so it drives a standard PLC input directly; no interposing relay needed. Light-ON / Dark-ON switching is selectable, which means one part covers both diffuse and retro-reflective logic without a separate variant. The 12 mm wide housing fits tight DIN-rail or machine-mount slots, and the M8 4-pin connector simplifies field replacement — unplug the old sensor, plug in the new one, no rewiring.
Deployment context
Rated IP67, so the sensor body and optics handle washdown and dust — suitable for packaging lines, bottling plants, or any area where a hose-down cleaning cycle is routine. The 10–30 VDC supply range covers standard 24 VDC control power with headroom for brownout conditions.
