Sensor type and output
The OD1-B015C05A14 is a 2D laser displacement sensor from the OD Mini series, delivering profile data over RS485 via a 4-pin M8 connector. Rated for a 10.0mm to 20.0mm installation distance, it captures displacement measurements within that standoff range — the sensor head must be positioned inside that window for valid readings. Supply voltage is 12 ~ 24VDC, compatible with standard industrial control voltages; the connector termination means a pre-wired M8 pigtail or field-attachable connector is required.
Environmental rating and mounting
IP67 ingress protection means the sensor body and optics withstand dust ingress and temporary immersion — suitable for washdown zones or outdoor installation on a packaging or material-handling line. Chassis-mount form factor with a bulk package; the operating temperature range of -10°C to 40°C covers most indoor production environments but not freezer or high-heat zones.
