Sensor type and output
The OD1-B100C50I14 is a 2D Laser Displacement Sensor from the OD Mini series, delivering a 4-20mA analog output proportional to displacement. The 4-pin M8 connector mates with standard M8 cordsets; verify pin assignment against the sensor label before wiring the analog input card. Supply range is 12 ~ 24VDC, so it runs on a common 24VDC panel supply without a separate regulator. Loop-powered sensors share the same two wires for power and signal; here the 4-20mA output is a separate pair, so the sensor draws its own supply current from the 24V rail.
Installation distance and IP rating
Rated installation distance spans 50.0mm ~ 150.0mm, which covers most part-present and gap-measurement stations on a conveyor or assembly line. Chassis-mount form factor with a connector termination; no DIN-rail clip, so plan for a bracket or a drilled panel plate. Operating temperature range of -10°C~40°C covers indoor factory conditions but not freezer or outdoor direct-sun applications.
