The OD1-B100H50I14 is a 2D laser displacement sensor from the SICK OD Mini family. It outputs a 4-20mA analog signal proportional to the measured displacement, making it a direct drop-in for existing PLC analog input cards without a separate converter. The 50.0mm to 150.0mm installation distance range gives you the working window for positioning it over a conveyor or web — 50mm minimum standoff means it clears tooling or product jostle, while the 150mm top end covers deeper inspection zones. The 4-20mA loop is powered from the 12 ~ 24VDC supply, so it runs off a standard industrial power supply; no separate sensor supply needed. IP67 — Dust Tight, Waterproof. On a packaging or bottling line where spray nozzles hit the sensor area, this sensor keeps running. No secondary cover or air purge needed for standard washdown cycles. The chassis-mount form bolts to a bracket or machine frame; keep the M8 connector pointed down to avoid pooling water on the face. Operating temp -10°C to 40°C covers most indoor production environments but not freezers — if the line hits below -10°C, you need a different sensor or a heated enclosure.
