The OD1-B100H50U14 is a 2D laser displacement sensor from the OD Mini series, delivering a 0-10V analog output proportional to the measured distance across a 50.0mm to 150.0mm installation range. It runs on 12-24VDC and terminates to an M8 connector — no cable to strip, just plug into the mating cordset. The IP67 rating means the optics and housing hold up to washdown and dust, so it can sit right on the production line without an extra enclosure.
The 50.0mm to 150.0mm installation distance defines where the sensor head must be mounted relative to the target — not a detection window, but the standoff range where the 2D profile stays in focus and linear. Outside that band, accuracy drops off. The 0-10V analog output scales linearly over that span, so a PLC analog input card reading 5V means the target is at the midpoint of the range. Supply is 12-24VDC, which covers standard industrial control voltages; the sensor draws its power from the same 24V bus that feeds the rest of the cabinet.
Chassis-mount form factor bolts directly to a machine frame or bracket. The IP67 seal lets it live on a conveyor line, a welding cell, or a packaging station where coolant mist and washdown cycles are routine. Operating temperature is -10°C to 40°C, so it's fine for a conditioned factory floor but not a freezer or a foundry hot zone.
