2D Laser Displacement Sensor for Precision Profiling
The OD1-B100H50U25 is a 2D laser displacement sensor from the OD Mini series, delivering non-contact profile measurements across a 50.0 mm to 150.0 mm installation distance. It runs on a 12 to 24 VDC supply and outputs a 0-10 V analog signal through the 5-pin M12 cable with connector.
The 50-150 mm installation distance defines the working standoff range — mount the sensor so the target falls within that window for reliable profile data. The 12-24 VDC supply is standard for industrial sensor busses; verify your cabinet supply stays within that band, especially under load. IP67 (dust-tight and waterproof) means the sensor handles direct hose-down cleaning, so it fits right into washdown zones without an extra enclosure. The -10°C to 40°C operating temperature covers most indoor factory environments; derate or add thermal management if the sensor sits near ovens or in unheated outdoor cabinets.
Integration Notes
Chassis-mount form factor means the sensor bolts directly to a bracket or machine frame — no DIN rail required. The cable with 5-pin M12 connector simplifies field replacement: unplug the old sensor, mount the new one, and reconnect. The 0-10 V analog output interfaces directly with most PLC analog input cards; no external signal conditioner needed for the basic profile signal.
