The SICK OD2-N250W150U2 is a 2D laser displacement sensor from the OD Value series, designed for non-contact profile measurement and position detection on production lines. The cable leads termination (no connector) means you'll need to plan for a junction box or a direct gland entry into the panel; the sibling OD2-N250W150U0 and OD2-N250W150I0 use a connector instead, so if your line prefers a quick-disconnect, those are the drop-in swap without rewiring the sensor head. Operating temperature is -10°C to 40°C — fine for a conditioned factory floor but not for an unheated warehouse or outdoor gantry. The IP67 seal keeps dust and water jets out, but the temperature range is the real limiter for cold environments.
