It's a PNP output unit — meaning it sources a positive signal to the PLC input when a target is within the detection zone. The 12~24VDC supply is standard for most industrial control cabinets, so no special power rail is needed. The chassis mount footprint lets you bolt it to a bracket or machine frame; cable leads termination keeps field wiring simple without a separate connector.
Standoff distance is 60.0mm to 180.0mm — that's the gap between the sensor face and the target. At 60mm you get the tightest resolution; at 180mm you cover a wider field but lose some detail. For a typical conveyor or gantry application, set it around 120mm for the nominal 120mm window. The operating temperature range of -10°C to 40°C keeps it happy in conditioned factory environments but not in a freezer or a foundry without thermal management.
