The OD2-P30W04C0 is a 2D laser displacement sensor from the OD Value series, designed for non-contact profiling and position measurement on production lines. It operates on a 12-24VDC supply and delivers a PNP switching output with a sensing range of 30mm ±4mm (26.0mm to 34.0mm installation distance). The IP67 rating means the sensor body withstands washdown environments — suitable for food-and-bev or automotive assembly lines where coolant and cleaning fluids are present.
The 30mm ±4mm measurement window defines the standoff and field of view: the sensor must be mounted 26-34mm from the target surface. The PNP output is a sourcing signal — common for PLC inputs that expect a positive voltage when the target is detected. The 12-24VDC supply range means it can share a 24V industrial control bus without a separate regulator.
