Where it bolts in — SINAMICS S120 axis
The Siemens 1FK2104-6AF10-2MB0 is a SIMOTICS S-1FK2 HD synchronous servo from the 1FK2 family, built to feed a SINAMICS S120 drive module over DRIVE-CLiQ — the M17 plug handles both encoder feedback and motor identification in one cable, so the drive auto-recognises shaft geometry and brake wiring at first connection. On the mechanical side it presents a cylindrical D14 x 30 mm shaft, IP64 sealing, and an integrated holding brake — the assembly is a direct drop-in for compact S120 axes (handling modules, indexing tables, small gantry axes) where a brake is required for E-stop retention and gravity-load hold.
3.2 Nm standstill, 1 kW at 380-480 V
Standstill torque M0 is 3.2 Nm, with PN = 1 kW at nN = 3000 rpm on the 380-480 V rail and PN = 0.5 kW at nN = 1500 rpm on the 200-240 V rail — the same frame covers North-American 480 V plant power and the lower-voltage European/Asian cabinets without re-sizing, and the 22-bit + 12-bit multiturn encoder gives absolute position across the whole speed range.
Lifecycle and build-to-order status
The lifecycle stage is current and the part ships under product class C — built to order, non-returnable, no reuse credit — which means you quote against the BOM quantity for each drive; group code R220 and product group 9021 are the internal identifiers to drop on the PO alongside the order code so the configurator doesn't substitute a non-brake variant. Packaging is one piece per box at 452 x 250 x 267 mm, so air-freight cradles and stockroom shelves need to clear that envelope — the build-to-order class also means independent distributors quote lead time against each RFQ rather than holding shelf stock.
