CT-frame 1FK2 on the SINAMICS S210 bus
The Siemens 1FK2204-5AF11-1SA0 is a SIMOTICS S-1FK2 CT servo motor built to pair with the SINAMICS S210 drive family, carrying a 2.4 Nm standstill torque at M0 and a 22-bit single-turn absolute encoder (AS22DQC) over the OCC interface. With the holding brake fitted and IP65 sealing on the housing, it slots into positioning axes where a defined stop must be held at zero speed.
Two power windows — 380-480 V vs 200-240 V
The nameplate carries two rated points: PN = 0.75 kW at nN = 3000 rpm on a 380-480 V supply, and PN = 0.375 kW at nN = 1500 rpm on a 200-240 V supply. The lower-voltage window is the one to spec against when the cabinet is fed from a 230 V line; the higher-voltage window is what unlocks the full 3000 rpm constant-power point on a 400 V or 480 V bus.
Encoder, shaft, and the M17 plug
The AS22DQC absolute encoder resolves 22 bits per turn, so the drive wakes up already knowing the rotor angle — no homing routine, no back-up battery, no drift after a power cycle. The shaft is D19 x 40 mm with a feather key for a positive torque transmission, and the M17 plug is rotatable through the cable exit so the cordset can be aimed at the cable tray without re-orienting the motor in the mount.
IP65 plus brake — where this motor fits
IP65 on the housing means the motor tolerates hose-directed washdown and dust-laden cabinet environments; the integrated holding brake is sized to hold the axis at zero speed after a controlled stop. The usual fit is packaging indexing tables, small gantries, and feed axes on a SINAMICS S210 multi-axis line where coordinated EtherCAT-style motion (the native bus the S210 was designed around) needs a known rotor angle every power-up.
